Inspector General Blasts Proposed Charter School Regulations

In a May 6 letter to DESE Commissioner Chester, state Inspector General Gregory Sullivan was highly critical of proposed amendments that would significantly weaken, and muddy, the charter school selection criteria process, and replace the previous objective standards for approval/disapproval with a more subjective one.
