MASC President Maurice Hancock and Lieutenant Governor-Elect Tim Murray, who brought greetings to the Thursday lunch attendees and promised to continue his record of strong support for public education. Paul Harrington, associate director, Center for Labor/Market Studies at Northeastern University, shared insights on the changing labor market and the impact on K-12 learning and achievement.

MASC Past President Nancy Stinger, commemorating the fifth anniversary of the School Committee Member Training legislation, which she was instrumental in getting passed during her term as President. President Hancock welcomes incoming President Joseph Santos of the Ludlow School Committee.
