LEGAL
UPDATES
|
MASC
keeps abreast of current legal developments in public education
at both the federal and state levels. With the help of the National
School Boards Association and the MASC legal counsel, the Association
has ready access to the most up-to-date laws and regulations
and is able to advise members on new legal requirements and
court decisions involving public education. Regular mailings
of the Legal File, a publication prepared by MASC's legal counsel,
keeps members informed of any changes to the law and the potential
impact of such changes on local school districts.
