DESCRIPTION:Charting the Course provides School Committee members with the information and guidance they need to understand their roles and responsibilities. But once you’re actually sitting at the table\, the realities of School Committee service can raise a whole new set of questions. \nHosted by MASC Division VII\, this virtual roundtable discussion will focus on the real-world experiences of serving on a School Committee. We’ll talk through the challenges\, questions\, and situations that don’t always come up in a training session – and share ideas\, experiences\, and strategies for navigating them effectively. \nWhether you’re a first-year member or have been serving for years\, there’s something to learn from the experiences of fellow School Committee members. \n*This event is open to all School Committee members across the state.
