DESCRIPTION:Join fellow School Committee members to learn how you can help your district support students’ wellbeing. With the national mental health crisis impacting many of our students\, there is a critical need for districts to take a comprehensive and systemic approach to student mental health\, including supporting their social\, emotional\, and behavioral wellbeing. Such an approach must start with the top. The decisions you make at School Committee can set your district’s vision for such an effort. This interactive workshop will offer brief presentations from two experts in the field\, as well as facilitated conversation among participants.
