Advocating for Our Public Schools: Preparing for Day on the Hill

The Greenfield School Committee in collaboration with MASC Division V is proud to present a workshop on advocating for our public schools in preparation for MASC/s Day on the Hill. The workshop will take place on March 27th at 6:30 pm in the Greenfield Public Library Conference Room.

  1. Engaging with Legislators and Staff: Jason Fraser, President-Elect and Legislative Chair of MASC, will guide us through effective ways to engage with legislators and their staff. Whether you’re a seasoned advocate or engaging for the first time, this session will provide valuable insights.
  2. Maintaining Relationships with Legislators: Learn how to build and maintain positive relationships with our legislators. Effective communication is key to advancing our educational goals.
  3. FY25 State Budget Highlights: Explore items of interest in the upcoming state budget that directly impact our schools.
  4. Maximizing Your Time at Day on the Hill:  Discover strategies for making the most of your advocacy efforts during Day on the Hill events.
  5. Q&A Session:  Humera Fasihuddin, Division V Chair, will facilitate conversation and questions related to advocacy for education with elected state and federal officials.
