The Oxford School Committee seeks an interim superintendent for the 2026-2027 school year.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a superintendent of schools in Massachusetts.
- Master’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of ten years in education, including teaching, central office and/or administrative experience.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The successful candidate will:
- Make administrative decisions necessary for the effective and efficient operations of the school district;
- Implement the effective use of district resources through supervision of the development of the annual budget and recommendations to the School Committee;
- Communicate effectively to all members of the community;
- Foster a culture that promotes continuous learning and improvement on the part of all staff and students;
- Work in partnership with local officials.
SALARY AND CONTRACT
This position is for the 2026-27 school year.
Salary range $160,000-180,000, commensurate with experience.
