A New Venue for the 2026 MASC/MASS Conference

On March 3rd, 2026 MASC President Denise Hurst announced a new venue for the 2026 annual conference. That announcement may be found below or in pdf format here.

MASC Members:

I want to share exciting news with you about our upcoming 2026 annual conference.  In recent years, a number of members have asked that we move to a newer and more accessible venue.  We heard you, and we have acted.

The 2026 Annual Conference will be held on November 4-6 (Wednesday-Friday) at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Boston North Shore in Danvers.  This venue is easily accessible right off Route 1 and includes larger and more user-friendly meeting spaces and accommodations.  Several other hotels and restaurants are within a short driving distance.

The new space will also allow for more sessions and a larger exhibit floor.  For members who might want to extend their stay and bring their families, the hotel has an on-site health club and water park!

Some of our North Shore members might wish to “day trip” and return home after the day’s programming.

As we all move ahead with our budget and planning for the upcoming fiscal year, we hope you will keep in mind the new conference location and add the event onto your calendars.

We look forward to welcoming you to the new venue.

Finally, in the next few weeks, we will be sending all MASC members a booklet with several important documents that may be of interest to you.  They include:

  • invitations to nominate your colleagues and community leaders for Lifetime Achievement Awards, All-State School Committee and Friends, Community Partners, Community Leaders for Public Education, and COSCAP Member of the Year recognition;
  • a form for submitting draft resolutions to the 2026 delegate assembly; and
  • application for the MASC Past Presidents’ Scholarship.

Please look for this information which is coming shortly.

I look forward to seeing all of you at our division meetings, new member orientations, learning lunches, and the November convention in Danvers.

Sincerely,

Denise Hurst, 2026 President
