Dear MASC members,
I hope you all have enjoyed your summer and are in full swing of the fall. As we announced earlier this spring, Glenn Koocher, our executive director for over 25 years, has announced his retirement. We appreciate his many years of service and will miss him deeply.
The MASC Board is committed to hiring the best replacement for Glenn. We have contracted with The MH Group to assist us in conducting the search for the next Executive Director. The MH Group has vast experience working with nonprofits to hire exceptional leaders and we are confident that they will assist us in finding the best candidate for the position. Our goal is to conduct a thorough process and hire someone who can overlap with Glenn for a smooth transition.
The job posting is live and can be found online here and on the MASC website. We encourage you to share the position with your networks as well. Once the resumes are reviewed, we will have an internal search committee made up of the MASC executive board, an MASC staff member, and some of our Division presidents.
